As a lefty I always have difficulty finding tools that work for me. This tool not only peels easily, but it also cuts just below the skin leaving more potato. I've tried lots of different peelers, even Pampered Chef, but nothing works like this one. Don't need to try anything else...definitely worth the money.
This must be a new model of the one I had for over 20 years. The old one stayed sharp but had to be replaced due to cracking and wear on the handle and plastic tip holding the blade. It was the best peeler I had ever had. The new one is a half inch longer in blade length compared to the older two inch model. This one peels much thinner and often requires peeling the same area over, making the whole peeling task less efficient and more tedious. I happened to find another peeler at the Commissary that had the shorter blade and this one peeled like the old one I had. I was disappointed and do no't recommend the newer design, but if you find one of the older ones, definitely buy it.

It’s big and clumsy. The twisting mechanism makes it even more difficult to use and clean vegetables quickly.
Makes peeling fruits and vegetables a lot quicker and easier. It gets the job done without having to worry about chopping a finger off.

This is the best peeler I ever had. It has a nice grip easy for people who have arthritis. I was impressed how thin it peeled the skin off potatoes plus lots of veggies Best Buy
Beenusing this product for years. Just needed a new one.
This is a great peeler. It's good for apples and carrots and peels everything very easily. It is very sturdy and has lasted me for years.

Not all are created equal. Used this brand at my sister's house and went out and bought one. Caution, it's sharp! Scraped off part of a finger.
Good peeler! Nothing special but good brand. Peels good :) recommended. Pretty sturdy as well and feels good in the hand

This is a nice peeler - easy comfortable grip, sharp blades. What it lacks, which the cheaper all metal ones have, is a tip to dig out potato-eyes. I miss that: you must use a knife for that operation. Oxo makes good tools but missed making this a great tool. I would not buy another one.
