I bought this to weigh myself at home. I’m on weight watchers and in-person weigh-ins were halted when covid-19 hit. But I am over 400lbs which is the usual max for digital scales. So I was so happy to find this. It goes up to 560lbs. which is unheard of in America. The reviews were good and the price was great. It’s a sturdy scale that activates as soon as you step on. I gave 4 stars because I’ve only had it a few weeks and I can’t account for if it will defect months down the line right now. But it is certainly worth a purchase if you are over 400lbs. This is the only scale I’ve found that goes over that. And the glass is sturdy as well. I will echo all the other reviews and say that you have to keep perfectly still for an accurate read. Just take a deep breath and relax.
The scale goes up to 550 lbs not 500 lbs as advertised. It's not wide for plus sized people so may be difficult for some people to get a reading. The numbers don't stop and freeze like some scales for more of an accurate reading so if you naturally shake a little like me you have to take the average number it goes to while you're on it. It looks nice and comes with batteries.

It looks very nice but not accurate. It's very frustrating. Depending on where your feet are placed, your weight can change up to a pound. It's hard to know exactly where to stand on it. You can also weigh yourself then step off of it for a few minutes then weigh yourself again and it's different. I am really not sure if it is just too sensitive or what causes this. The surface it sits on is completely flat so that is not the issue. It's fairly accurate but off a little bit each time.
Scale does not power up, and was delivered without a return slip. I'm sure if it powered up it would work fine.
This is the worst scale I've ever had. It will be 10lbs off at 9am and 2lbs different at 9:02am and then 6lbs different at 9:04am. Unreliable scale and a waste of good money. Buy at your own risk.
A large, sturdy and stable platform to stand on. The large and bright blue numbers are easy to read. I really like this scale. Some reviewers had mentioned that the weight numbers continually changed. They do for a few seconds and then “settle” on one number for your weight. I only use the scale for my weight, so cannot comment on it’s additional features. I recommend this nice looking and reasonably priced scale.
