Pfaltzgraff® Chateau 16-Piece Dinnerware Set in Cream

I purchased 8 settings of Chateau approx a year ago. Immediately, the plates and cups showed silverware marks. Bar Keepers is the only thing I've found that removes them. I am so tired of scrubbing them constantly that I'm planning to replace. Also, the writing on the bottom of each piece has either smeared or washed completely off. Very disappointed as they were not cheap and I expected better quality. Giving 2 star only because they were beautiful straight out of the box.

I just received the three, 16-piece sets of the Chateau Cream dinnerware. They came packaged very well and none of the pieces was broken. The pattern is very pretty and will be easy to dress a lovely table, for everyday or any holiday. I have only just unpacked them, but they seem a good weight and finish. I look forward to using them for a long time!

The dinner and salad plates are even prettier in person. Sauces can get stuck/dried in the design, have to make sure to clean with a sponge before putting in the dishwasher. Wish the set had come with the fruit bowls instead of the soup ones. They’re so massive it’s impossible to stack more than two in a pile in a standard height cabinet. Found it odd the bowls logo/print on the bottoms have washed off every single bowl but the plates and mugs logos are still there. Unfortunately the bowl is not the best for microwaving, most times the ceramic gets insanely hot but the food is still cold and it shows scratches from silverware much worse than the plates. These setbacks wouldn’t cause me to not repurchase another set but I will not order another set till pfaltzgraff offers one with the fruit bowls, till then I’ll keep waiting.

Love my new dishes. Very durable and pretty. A little flat so food can sometimes slide off if carrying.

Still too new to evaluate wear and tear but they are even prettier than pictured. The bad thing is that the “ring” on the bottom of the plates is unglazed and very rough. If you slid it across a table, it would scratch the wood. A coat or two of clear nail polish has helped with this in the past so will have to try that here.

I chose this set for its good looks, durability, and the fact that it will be appropriate with any table decor. The set arrived promptly, and looked exactly as presented online. Very happy with this purchase.

Beautiful, better than expected dishware. I order knowing the Pfatzgraff brand....always an excellent product!
