Prepara® Latchlock Food Storage Container

I have tried Tupperware and Rubbermaid for the last 50 something years. oh these companies promise you the moon and stars to get you to buy them. However, they do not hold up even stating dishwasher or microwave safe! They are neither of these as being safe. The heat cycle of your dish washer will ruin the sealing top lids. it causes them to warp. And placing in microwave causes the bottom of these products to melt only where the food is touching. If you drop one of these while removing from a freezer the bottoms or tops will crack and even break if they hit the floor. God knows how much money I had invested into both of these products to only find out that they are not guaranteed for life life they say either. If you have had any piece for over 5 years you get a replacement however, it is not free. I traded in 3 items and had to pay the difference in what they had cost when I bought them to what they cost now. If I can prove I did nothing wrong in their use that caused them to not snap air tight anymore! I traded 8 pieces for one new piece. That is when I said enough and went searching for new brands. I decided last year that in order to keep some foods like staple goods, and boxed goods to last longer I needed something I could see through so I did not have to open each one to see how much was left before grocery day, and with an air tight with a seal to keep the products from bugs or going stale. So in my research I found this product and one by Rubbermaid they makes just the right size needed and clear to see through, but best of all they had lids that were actually air tight! I have been using them for almost 2 months now and have not had any issues with them in fact I have had some for over 6 months and these seem to be the best on the market. I have rearranged my entire kitchen pantry and love how I can see with just a quick peek at what I need to purchase on my monthly grocery run. I liked them so well I even bought some to keep my crafts organized too! The best money I ever spet was gong back in time to when you wash and dry items like these.

This is a really nice container. I bought it to let bread dough rise in it and it works perfectly. I think I'll get a lot of good use out of this. It really is airtight. And easy to clean.

We received this just in time for our family memorial day BBQ. I was able to marinate 8 NY strips overnight, flipping and turning the Latchlok to make sure the meat was throughly coated. No leaks at at all. Locked in the flavor !

I bought a few of these containers and they kept my food really fresh, plus they have a really nice seal. They also have a lot of room to fit all my food, which most containers don't!
