Ive checked the price for this crock at multiple stores--couldn't beat bb&b price. It was so simple to set up...i didnt have much counter space...however, managed to get a 5-gallon to sit up-right on the crock (no instructions needed)...just a lil muscle. Our family doesn't drink tap water or drink from water bottles....couldn't beat 25 cents a gallon with a 5-gallon bottle of reverse osmosis water...fantastic. We drink room temp water....so it was no problem...we love it!
The picture is not accurate. the wooden part is larger than the ceramic bowl so it won’t look as sleek. Primo told me on twitter they changed the design for added security which I understand. But in this case, the picture should be updated.

Valve leaks,.... no bueno
I was hoping to use this dispenser instead of constantly buying new bottles of water, but the 5 gallon jugs cost 40% more per gallon than individual disposable gallon jugs. I agree that the terrible economics of it doesn't mean it's a bad dispenser, but is rather a consideration I should have made before buying.
I did realize this wouldn't come with a lid when I bought it. It would be nice if it did. Despite that, the crock and stand are both great and the whole set is priced well.
Packaged well. Delivery was longer than expected but well worth the wait. It works on the counter without the stand due to the spout being a bit curved. I had rented one for years with a water delivery company & when I moved the new company only has the tall loud and automatic hot cold dispensers with plastic tubes (ugly) that made the water taste horrible after first run!! So happy with this ceramic dispenser. Must clean with vinegar once a month to keep minerals from building up. It’s perfect!

Originally had a cheap plastic dispenser we got for free. Used the heck out of it till it finally be cracked. Had issues finding a reasonably priced one. Until, I found this one at BB&B. Best purchase ever. We have it out in our work shop.
I got this water dispenser with a stand to have my 1-year-old kid learn how to serve herself and motivate her to drink more water throughout the day. It has a pretty design and doesn't need to work with the 5 gallon water bottle on top, you can cover it with a lid and elastic band. I'm very satisfied with this product.
It’s perfect. I was surprised to what is been looking for. It holds both 5 and 2 gal bottles. It’s well made and the stand was easy to put together. Very much worth the price. If you don’t need the electric water machine this is perfect for you. Don’t have to worry about black mold in the water lines inside the machine. Easy to take care of.
