PUR® PLUS 11-Cup Pitcher Filteration System

Good product and water tastes better than tap water. However, I can't get the lid back on the pitcher. The front of the lid fits into the groove but the back refuses to snap into place. I've tried everything and even had a friend try, but no go. I'm afraid of cracking it if I force it. I called PUR customer service today and after pressing many buttons to get to alive person, I was put on a very long hold and finally their system hung up while I was waiting. Not very pleased with the lid or customer service.

When I opened the box to read the instructions, they were so confusing and densely written, I had no patience to wade thru them. I was so busy, I just wanted something I could operate easily, without a myriad of information/orders/sugggestions. I just packed up the box and took it back to BB&B.

We have iron in our well water which leaves a red residue on bowls. Have filtration system in refrigerator for human drinking but was tired of scrubbing dogs' stainless steel water bowls. So oddly enough, bought this for merely the dogs' drinking water and to keep the bowl from gathering residue. WORKS GREAT. No iron residue at all. Heavy when full but easily managed.

Not the best Filter I've used... Definitely think Brita does way better with their products. This item leaks water and the capacity is not big enough so I'm constantly refilling and filters extremely slow.

Like the shape and size. Water tastes good. Quick delivery.

Not sure if the person who designed this pitcher actually used it for testing because it is almost impossible to poor water without having water all over. Even slowly pouring doesn’t work well. Filter by itself is good, but this pitcher is not functional, and this is its main function…

I bought this water pitcher since it filters out more contaminants than Brita. I followed all of the instructions for setup and when I first filled it, I definitely noticed it was slower than Brita, but it at least filtered the water in less than an hour. I've had this pitcher less than a month and now it has become EXTREMELY slow. Most of the time I will only see water filtering out of one hole on the bottom and at a very slow rate. It literally takes hours to fill a couple cups which is ridiculous. I looked up ways to fix this and the manufacture stated it could be clogged. I did exactly as they said. Took it out, shook it upside down at a slight angle for 5-6 seconds then put it back in. Did not change anything. On top of the ridiculously slow filtering, the lip on the pour spout often does not flip very well and causes water to spill on the side while pouring. This is a poorly-product. I even threw away by Brita to buy this, but I am not regretting that decision.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new PUR Pitcher 11cup. Plenty to last me whole day of clean water. It is certified to reduce more than 20 contaminants. Filter change light when it's time to be changed. Lid stays tight and allows you to pour water without spills. It's perfect size to fit in the fridge. Light and easy to use. When we first got it directions were easy to read and understand. It is very important to follow the first steps. You have to make sure to soak filter in the water for 15 minutes. No less than that. After soaking you rinse the filter for 10 seconds and it's ready to be used. With this pitcher you always have fresh water and eliminate use of bottled water. You can use water from the sink and this pitcher is going to reduce taste of chlorine from the water. If you want to save the money and have less waste of plastic bottles in the field I really recommend this pitcher.
