When I was cooking for 2, I got in the habit of making casseroles, dividing them between 2 of the 34 oz glass storage containers, and freezing one for later. When I started cooking for my parents too, casseroles became too much trouble because I had only 1 13 x 9 cake pan which was usually being used for something else. I finally ordered 4 of these, which I thought might be a bit excessive, but they are always in use. I love that the lids click on tight for freezing, I love the handles. I just wish they could make the handles stand up somehow, maybe in a way that you could nest and stack them — it doesn’t fit inside a standard 2-sided kitchen sink for easy cleaning. They actually rest across the sides of the sink like an over-the-sink cutting board would, so it isn’t hard to clean, could just be easier. I love them anyway.
The Pyrex 3qt baking dish is not over-proof, or the one we received from Bed Bath & Beyond was defective. The dish was filled with a berry cobbler and put into a 350 degree oven. The baking dish SHATTERED once it reached the baking temperature. The cobbler covered the entire oven floor along with the shattered glass. Very disappointed in this product. It was a mess to clean up.

I was disappointed in the fit of the cover. Easily slips off. Not up to the Pyrex quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dish its still holding up and I like the fact that it comes with a lid. My clean up has been a breeze no matter what I have prepared and it's very nice sturdy glass, bakes well in my oven.

These pyrex pans have been a staple of my kitchen for decades. When I needed to replace my 9 x 13 pans, I got the new version with the handles. The lids do not close well. They are hard to use, and sometimes pop off in the refrigerator. I have treated the lids very gently, handwashing (never put into the dishwasher). I wish the old standard style were still available.
