I did some research before purchasing some glass storage containers. I was getting rid of all my plastic ones because they are not healthy to use. Pyrex was the only well know brand that the glass containers can go into the freezer, fridge, microwave, and oven. I will not put the lids in the microwave or oven because they might melt or misshape since they are rubber or plastic, The lids have printed on them that they don't have the harmful chemical in them that most plastics do and they do say you can microwave with them, but instead of using them I just use a paper towel or wax paper instead when using in the microwave just to be safe. There are a nice selection of container sizes with this set too. Another plus is that they are made in the USA and I always try to buy American Made items. My husband and I like them so much I ordered another set and some other additional a la carte sizes not in the set.
I am very disappointed. The glass cracked on the edge and it became very dangerous. I heated up my food in the microwave as usual, and took it out. I was eating my food and I chewed a hard part, I spilled out and saw a very sharp and pointy sliver so I looked closely and saw it came out from the border of the glass. If I had swallowed it it would be a disaster.

Like this storage set! Especially like the tops - they go on bowls easily. Like storing food in glass!
Can't ever go wrong with Pyrex
Love pyrex products, great variety of sizes, comes in handy
We purchased a set of these bowls/lids and loved them for the first few months . But then, all the lids have cracked. Now I have a set of all these bowls with no lids. To replace the lids costs more than to buy a whole new set . so I guess I just donate the bowls & toss the lids and figure out a new plan. Bummer because this could have been an awesome set, otherwise.

I love my storage sets. I have 2 sets of 3 graduated sets, round with blue lids and green lids. However, all the lids have cracked and I can no longer use the containers. How can I replace the 2 sets of lids.
