I was in makeup school, and I got suckered into the same trap most of us do in the beginning. I went to one of the big makeup chains (ya know the one...3 letters...) and I bought their "dual fiber" stippling brush. And I spent about $80. I used it THAT DAY on a client and it molted all over their face. It's embarrassing, even if it is completely the brush and not you. I bought the Real Techniques stippling brush and expert face brush for under $30..together...and they work 1000 times better and haven't shed a hair yet. Thank you for making products like these at a price we can afford.
LOVE this brush, after one month all the bristles fell out. Really disappointing.

This brush is amazing! I use it for applying my liquid foundation and I love it. It allows me to apply my foundation effortlessly and it blends really well. I've tried many foundation brushes, but this one is the best I've ever used. I also like that its gentle on the skin and has good quality bristles. Great brush overall.

I bought this brush from a local shop a few days ago, and I have to say I'm incredibly disappointed in it. It leaves the foundation super streaky and cakey, to the point where I need to use a sponge to blend it properly. I've used it with different primers and tried to put a small amount at a time without any better results. I bought this brush with hopes of making my foundation routine quicker, but ended up disappointed.

It could also be that this brush isn't the right fit for you, and you might want to return it to the store for a resolution according to their return policy.

Bought the new design brush yesterday as it my old one was due replacement. I didn’t think the design on the actually brush head had changed, boy was I wrong. It’s not dense, it swallowed a lot of my foundation and I didn’t get the finish I was getting with the old revision. It’s a buffing brush at best! Infuriated. If I wanted a buffing brush I’d have bought one, instead now I’m stuck with the useless brush and I can’t even get my money back! Also if it was award winning, why change? Idiotic. Do not buy, cheap nasty and not the brush it was.

|Hello Gorgeous, Thanks for reaching out. The Expert Face Brush is manufactured after the same design, but because each brush is hand cut, no two will be identical.
The first time I tried it was this morning. And the result was wow! so smooth brush and no streking. all thumbs up!

This brush is generous with the foundation to my face, doesnt really absorb the product, and gives me the natural glow from my foundation. It makes my skin look flawless, doesnt leave streaks.
