Remedy Bed Bug and Dust Mite Mattress Protector in White

bought from bb&b because a very good price, comparatively. do wish, though, that it contoured better to the mattress.

Can't live without this considering I have animals and fur flying around -protects my mattress year round and keeps it free from dust as well.

Sending your kid to college is stressful enough but trying to think about all the students that slept on the bed before them was grossing me out. I found this great option so before we even did anything i put this on the mattress provided by the university along with the 3" memory foam mattress pad. It was perfect. fit everything inside and zipped it up. I feel better knowing this nice new protector is what he is sleeping on.

This protector ripped a I was placing it on the mattress. My son threw it out.

I am giving this item a 2 because it was extremely difficult to get the zipper around the tight corners. I was on the verge of returning the item, but I kept trying with the zipper. I was afraid I was going to break the zipper. Since this is a mattress protector; hopefully, it will not have be laundered frequently. This is for an elder relative and we do have a waterproof pad on top of the bed as well. Too much of our overseas stuff is of poor quality and not well made.

Upon inspection I found a hole in the seam along the zipper. Since this is supposed to be a sealed cover it defeats that purpose. Unwanted creatures would be able to make their way in through this hole. Sloppy sewing on this cover. I’m annoyed as I will have to return to the store and await a replacement. I paid enough for this that I don’t feel like sewing it myself. I like that this cover is thicker than another brand I got from a different big box store. But the quilting stitches pose a problem of making tiny pin holes in the fabric. I don’t really understand the thought process of the people who designed this cover. It’s a nice cover but there should be absolutely no small holes of any kind anywhere... I ordered two of these covers and will wash one to see if the stitching holes close up any. I wish there were more mattress protectors that could be washed in hot water because if you truly have an allergy to dust mites you need to wash all linens in hot water.

It was easy to install and put on and it does completely zip around the mattress. However, after using it and sleeping on it, it is crinklely and doesn't breathe. Am trying to find a replacement now.
