Have you ever had an opportunity to do a Riedel tasting with wine varietal specific glasses? Once you do, you'll realize shape really does make a difference. Having the right glass, elevates the tasting experience making the difference between a good wine and a great tasting wine. At those tastings we've used their other series: 1)Wings and 2)Performance. The Riedel Heart series offered at Bed, Bath and Beyond are far less fragile. Knock on wood, I've had the Riedel Heart Reisling, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet for about four years and have yet to break any. Definitely worth the investment!

Three of the glasses had irregular, wobbly shape. Very odd for such expensive glasses. They were returned.

Loved the glasses, but one stem broke after the first time of use and I could not get it replaced. Very disappointing.
