RoadPro® 12-Volt 1.5-Quart Slow Cooker in Black

This unit was operational and I really hoped it would be a 12-volt crockpot as advertised. Unfortunately, it was merely a food warmer. I left beans in this pot for two days and I still had to bring them into my house and finish them on the stove. A dish that takes 8 hours to cook in my regular household crockpot didn’t even finish cooking after 48 hours in this RoadPro. I’m appreciative of BB&B’s return policy, but definitely disappointed this crockpot didn’t work for me. If you’re looking to heat up precooked foods (like canned soup), this will be good for you. If you’re trying to cook from scratch, get a 300-watt inverter and plug in an actual crockpot.

Works good if you give it a long time. Good for heating up stuff.

We do a lot of boondock camping where we are not hooked up to a power source. If we do use an appliance we need to run our inverter changing the power to 110. By having this 12 Volt Crockpot it takes less power from our batteries. This is the way to go for us. Pricing was great and with our 20% off coupon that offset our shipping costs.

Make sure your vehicle is running or your generator is running when using this. No temperature control makes it hard to keep things warm without overcooking.

My husband is on the road A LOT. He loves this. Put the frozen food in and in about an hour or so it's done. No fuss no muss.

I bought this for a tailgating at a Navy Football game. It worked great! I made pork BBQ a day ahead and then put it in this slow cooker to warm up for the game. It was steaming hot and stayed hot for a long time....you have to unplug when the engine isn't running so you won't run down your car battery and that is my only criticism. Well worth the money for tailgating, camping or traveling.
