It may be silly, because I don’t iron much anymore, but I’ve always wanted a Rowenta iron. So when I saw this at B,B&B on sale I had to get it. What a great iron! It’s all I expected from the brand. The amount of steam it produces is amazing—and no spots on the fabric when steam ironing like my last few irons over the years. Perfect weight and feels very comfy in my hand. And, as it turns out, I’ve been redoing the house decor and it’s come in handy to iron all the curtains. If you’re not sure, my opinion is to buy it!
Purchased this to replace an older Rowenta iron I've had for years BUT ended up returning it because water leaks out the bottom before I can even get it to the ironing board...ended up returning it and will stick with my older model for now.

This iron is going to be a Christmas gift, so it has not been used yet. Delivery time was grate.

I do love this iron. It just drives me insane that you really can't see how much water you have in it.

Even when not using the steam function, water was leaking from the 'Sprayer" function onto clothes leaving large wet spots. Also, white specks/debris were expelled from the steam vents onto the item I was ironing. I noticed the 2 sprayer buttons (spray & steam) are now made of a cheaper plastic material in place of metal. Rowenta's quality has deteriorated. Sadly, due to elapse of time (over 60 days from purchase date) refund/exchange not eligible.

The iron stopped heating the first week and there is no information on how to get a replacement per the warranty.

This iron lasted 6 months and the dial broke, rendering it useless. The dial just popped off after the 5th use. Contacted Rowenta and they basically ignored me. Huge waste of money.

I liked the weight and handling of this iron. The grip was good and the small 'prow' on the sole plate allowed for pressing into snug corners. The filling inlet is awkwardly placed, and the lid to it takes some prying to lift; also difficult to see the water level - clear plastic would make a visual inspection easier. I found the temperature control dial awkwardly placed - hiding under the handle. As for the "max" heat setting...it just wasn't hot enough. But in the end, it was the inconsistent heat delivery that made me return the iron. I don't expect to have to wait for the iron to get up to temperature every minute or so, and "Max" wasn't so very high. It made my ironing chores take longer, and that's not acceptable! I have to wonder...does anyone 'test drive' these new iron designs, or is it all 'form over function'?

Access steam iron stopped working after 4 months. It won’t even come on. Huge disappointment and waste of money. I would expect it to last much longer , especially for the price tag.
