These work awesome. They keep a large amount fresh in the fridge but, more importantly, we can carry foods like watermelon or cucumber salad to and from work without worrying about messy, sticky spills in our briefcases or on car seats. My only complaint is I wish they came in an even larger size for when I cut up a water melon. I have to use multiple containers for this purpose now. I've been using these since they launched and they continue to maintain a seal and look great through a lot of runs through our dishwasher.
Purchased the 18 piece set to upgrade my mix & match storage containers. These were perfect, as it looked like glass and was crystal clear. I needed something that was dishwasher safe (although I always hand wash) and could be used in the microwave. Six months later, I noticed hairline cracks appearing! I continued to use them, as they were not leaking. But one by one- they found there way to the trash. My restaurant containers have lasted longer than these. Now I'm down to a few usable pieces and back to my mix & match pieces to complete my food storage needs. I love Rubbermaid... but Rubbermaid doesn't love me. Heartbroken.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The product works really well. And the lid seals on this extremely well. The only problem with that is that with this plastic one the lid can be difficult to remove where I have not run into that issue with the glass

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thoroughly impressed by how well the plastic container compared to the glass one I received. I would say this one performed just as well, but would be better for someone who is looking for something that is more durable for on the go eating and food storage. It’s lightweight but still offers the same benefits of being leakproof, stain resistant, and odor resistant. It may not be the best container for someone with fine motor issues or someone with more frail hands because the lid is very snug!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a huge fan of this Rubbermaid Plastic Storage Container! It's far superior to your average plastic storage containers. It's made exactly line the glass container just like it, but it's made of plastic instead. I'd definitely buy this container again! The clasps on the lid help you from losing it amongst your other plastic container lids, like most of us do! I highly recommend these to everyone! You can store just about anything in these, and of you drop it, yippee not going to break it!

While I wouldn’t put this in the microwave (only true limitation in my opinion) for those who aren’t as concerned with only using glass this would be a great choice.
