In one year we have taken this luggage on seven different airplane vacations. For the most part, the luggage has held up. One of the seams for the top handle ripped after 3 airplane trips and we have since lost two different zippers. My family and friends have all wanted to purchase simmilar luggage, but have been concerned with the minor rips and tears that we have seen this past year. I love that we can recognize our luggage in the baggage claim area, but have been slighly dissapointed in the quality after one year.
I travel for work, a typical high quality suitcase will generally last a few years. This one lasted 2 trips. On the first trip one of the airlines broke a side pocket zipper, didn't use it so no big deal for me. On the second trip the zipper that separates the 2 main compartments has separated itself from the bag making it a chore to open or close the bag. It's a poor quality product from a company I expect high quality from.

Bag is great, but there was a hole in the brand new bag, and I am having trouble getting the Warranty service - which has no phone number access - to help me get it back to them for repair.

Good for a short trip home from college. However, you might want the 30-inch version for a Christmas trip home. We bought this one first, then got the larger version for our college student to use at Christmas. Rolls well with stiff back. Straps cinch down extra space to keep things from moving around. Great quality bag.

When fully packed, comes just shy of the 50-pound max on airlines. Regular duffels are hard to carry. Duffels with wheels need a stiff back to work as a rolling bag. This has that and is the max size you can fill without going overweight. Straps cinch down extra space to keep things from moving around. Well designed. Good quality. Won’t smash up for storage as much as a non-rolling duffel.
