This is nice-looking luggage. Unfortunately, it got significantly damaged on my first trip (even after attaching a fragile sticker for the airline care handling). Literally, just in the first trip I used the luggage. Perhaps it is the material construction of the luggage that failed. Maybe it was a bad unit in the batch of production with poor quality control. I will try to contact customer service, and I hope they will answer my claim of this 400 luggage.

Not what I expected to be. Wheels don't run smoothly and is pretty narrow luggage for medium size, so not much space and is weirdly organised inside

Happy with the purchase of this suitcase- looks great, is quite sturdy and is well built. Wish there was an externally accessible pocket to store a phone / passport on the exterior- serious drawback to hardshell models. Maybe for the next model Samonite could use the space between the handle on the back? The USB port is useful but it's USB-A, would be good to have it as a USB-C. Silver looks good but scuffs easily.

I bought this for a multi-city trip and was disappointed to find that the handle’s giant neoprene pad underneath makes it almost impossible to roll over any significant distance. It is clearly designed only for rolling the bag behind you, not beside you, and adds more width to the handle making the bag increasingly difficult to grip as the day goes on, especially if you’re walking on any surface less smooth than linoleum. It’s a shame that this suitcase is an ergonomic nightmare because this “feature” was completely unnecessary and it’s otherwise a perfectly nice suitcase. I’d only recommend it if you plan to go straight from airport to taxi to hotel. I wish I’d returned this in time. My much less expensive suitcases are way better. Massive waste of money.

good carry on suitcase. fits (just barely) in all overhead spaces i’ve had recently. rolls well.
