[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: Great vacuum for the most part has 3 cleaning features: Eco, normal, and max. I prefer max it deeps cleans. Love the mapping feature. Very intelligent vacuum knows not to go down a stair it will avoid and turn around. Anything in front of the vacuum it will turn around or avoid it and come back later to the spot that needs cleaning. When the vacuum is full during cleaning it will empty itself and go back and finish its job! You need the app and The app is great has lots of feature shows your house rooms layout after the vacuum mapping, the app is used to start the vacuum or tell it to dock, has a locator for the vacuum. Works well with Alexa also. Great quality and design just fix the minor issues. Cons: The 2 brushes in front when clean it will swipe trash to the side. Crumbs sometimes end in a corner because of this making it hard for the vacuum to reach. 2. Doesn’t work well on carpet and my carpet isn’t thick at all. 3. Not prefect for pet hair will send an error message to check under robot to clear obstruction and it wasn’t a lot.
Did a great job mapping the home, performing spot cleaning, and overall cleaning was GREAT with the dog hair of 2 dogs - That lasted 3 days. Almost done with morning cleaning on day 3 and it notifies me that there has been an error with the robot while cleaning and to call support. Shark Support was helpful and determined it is an internal error and the robot will have to be replaced! Very impressed with the cleaning capabilities and mapping. Unimpressed with the quality of the robot and only working for 3 days! Will update when a replacement comes in 2-3 weeks if all works well.

I purchased this to replace an older model. My older model replaced an iRobot that was constantly broken and I was always waiting for parts until we decided to return it and try the Shark. The only problem with the new one is the product description says that you can now set the power setting and it will stay that way unless you change it. That is not correct. It changes every day. Maybe it's just the IOS app but very disappointing. I want the full power at all times so maybe the factory can investigate this.

I received a Shark A1vacuum for Christmas was so excited it worked wonderful for 1 month then it lost connection to the internet did everything recommended in owners manual several times called customer service they told me to do everything I had already done several times then they blamed internet service I called Wi-Fi provider they checked nothing wrong with Wi-Fi service let it go dead then my daughter charged it and got it to connect to Wi-Fi. But when it tried to map it spun in a circle in the same spot for about 15 minutes I moved it to another spot it then started mapping that is until the red dock light came on then nothing it shut itself off I put it on the dock couldn’t get it to reset so put it back to factory settings now it won’t connect to Wi-Fi although the red dock light is off this is the most frustrating piece of crap vacuum I’ve ever owned I have never been so disappointed in a Shark brand product I do not recommend

Bought this to replace my old 750 that started having issues after 6 years. So far I really like it. I even like it better than my iRobot i7 so far. Time will tell how well it will hold up. Does not appear to respect the no go zones which is disappointing. The magnetic strip tape doesn’t work either. Would be nice if I could figure out how to keep it away from my speakers.

This has made keeping up with our active family of 5 and 2 indoor dogs much better. We are able to run it to give us a grace while we are on the go with our kids sporting events. I can not say how much I love being able to come home to clean floor. Also the mapping did a wonderful job and its ability to work our kids obstacles like toys or other items left on the floor is amazing. Would most definitely recommend, don't hesitate to purchase you will love it!

leas than 6 months old… works great one day and completely shuts down the next. random errors, goes where the map is marked to not go, randomly just redraws the map incorrectly so you have to delete it and remake. i tried calling support and they were no help. they couldn’t figure it out and said someone else would call me back to help but that never happened. i’m super mad cuz this was super expensive

I have had our model 1101 robot for about two years and have been basically happy with it. Now one of the wipers stopped turning so I called customer service. After having to repeat tests that I have already done, I was told I have a bad wiper motor. According to the rep there is no fix for it. If I want to have a robot that works, I will need to buy a new one!

This is the best purchase ever. We are in our 70’s and vacuuming up Dalmatian hair has been a definite chore. The AI Ultra with self emptying features is really great. Love it,

Not sure if we got a wonky model but ive never had this vaccumn run without an error: stuck on something (but nothings there), full dust bin (supposed to be self emptying), runs out of power (i have it set to go back and recharge when needed). It also doesnt clean the designated rooms chosen on the app- ill choose bedroom and it will go to the kitchen and it goes right over the included barriers that are supposed to designate no-go areas. Ive deep cleaned our unit multiple times and replaced filters, accessories etc as requested and it doesn't seem to fix anything. Ive also deleted and redone the map to verify not user error. We've had this for 1.5 yrs and we have 2 short hair dogs so its not 'overloaded'. For the price i would expect better
