Although this one has more power than the earlier model, and it cleans better we are very sorry they spent engineering hours moving the battery charger from the vacuum.

I purchased this Feb 2022 and up until now it has been my favorite vacuum. I love that hair never gets stuck around the brushes! I have never had a problem with the suction or the battery life. I use it every day, but I guess that wasn't what it was designed for. My head now has a short and that is not covered under the limited warranty. I would have never thought that the main part of the vacuum would not be covered. Also, the felt underneath has worn out which I expected, and the brushes are wearing down. I have the older model ic162 and I have had it for years and the vacuum head has not worn down, the rest of the vacuum has tape holding it together in some places, but it is five years. I guess they don't make them like they used too but I am still please with the suction.

This vaccum has potential to be a great item but in reality the hoses get clogged and the vacuum won’t pick anything up. I have to clean the hoses out every time I use the vacuum. It doesn’t seem to have enough power to bring the derby through the hose and to the chamber on its own. I’ve had it about a year and I will be buying a corded vacuum. Trying to make this one work for so long has left me feeling like my house is dirty even after I clean it.

I live in a studio apartment (very small) hardwood floors and a large rug. The 60min run time is only on eco mode and eco mode does NOTHING on carpet. I have a husky and I have to empty out the container 2 times while cleaning so the container is very small. The battery does last the whole time I’m cleaning on high mode but that’s it. (About 20 min) If you are wanting this for a quick clean in a small space it’s a great vacuum and I would definitely recommend. Otherwise stick with a corded.

Wow, very impressed by the performance, I was a bit doubtful how this would do on carpets, but this vacuum killed it.

Everything about this vacuum is great except for the face the battery doesn’t last very long. It says it’s an hour but it does not last that long. I’ve had it two weeks and I typically don’t get the whole house completed before the battery dies / even though it will still show a percentage of 40%. I’m not sure if it’s a case of a faulty battery but except for that / the vacuum is great. All the attachments, the ease of using the lift away on stairs, blinds, couches, etc. Just disappointed that for price that the battery doesn’t have a longer life - and it wasn’t on boat mode either - went from eco to deep clean and was even on stairs.

Don’t get me wrong this thing is POWERFUL!!! It’s a lot more powerful than the Shark Rocket Pro IZ140, I have had both vacuum and this one is waaay more powerful on suction so that is a big plus. Of course it is at the full level suction. Really wish battery can last longer but what can you expect when it comes to cordless and a powerful suction. Now my big big flaw, is that it does not have an EDGE BRUSH! Why shark? It could have been the PERFECT vacuum but it is just missing that! The only thing that will probably bother me for the rest of my life of owning this vacuum! Other than that the head brush can be noisy but you’ll eventually get used to it. And one thing also that bothers me is the hose attaching to the stick, it falls off too easily so you’ll eventually have to keep snapping it back.

I’m so happy with my purchase. I have mobility issues and sweeping wears me out- this works great on our laminate floors and carpeted areas. Charge lasts long enough to do the job. Works great on pet hair— and my very long hair. Attachments are great and work well. Also is not too heavy.
