Shark® HydroVac™ Pro XL WD201 Cordless Self-Cleaning Vacuum and Mop in Blue

I’m had a Bissell and it wouldn’t clean and the battery wouldn’t last long at all. Then, the water dispenser broke. I decided to try this mop vac. It works amazing. The battery more than lasts. I am very pleased with how it cleans.

This mop vac is too easy. Our floors, which we’re getting vacuumed and mopped with a spray product once a week, I now touch up every few days…especially in high traffic areas with two small dogs. Cordless is the way to go!

I love most everything about the HydroVac I bought this for myself about a month ago.. It's wonderful to save time and energy by being able to vacuum and mop at once. The fact that I don't have to lug a cord around from room to room is a game changer. I previously used a steam cleaner on my tile, laminate and hardwood flooring and I prefer the HydroVac much more. The floors dry quickly after mopping. It doesn't clean the grout on my tile floors but my steam mop didn't clean it either very well either. I use my regular vacuum every so often to get all the dirt and dust out of the grout. I like the scent of the cleaning solution but I feel it's much too expensive. I use the throw rug mode to get any sticky or extra dirty spots on the floor clean. I haven't used it on my throw rugs yet and would only do so to lightly freshen them. I don't feel they could be thoroughly cleaned using this machine. The self cleaning mode is amazing. It's easy to empty the dirty water container, rinse it clean and let air dry before putting back in the machine. If you don't do this step after every use, you may end up with foul smelling odors. I no longer dread cleaning my floors and I consider it one of the best purchases I have made.

I really love the ease of my shark vac, but there are a few things I would change. One, I would love the cleaner to have some scent to it. I like the smell of a clean house. And like some other reviews said, it doesn't clean the edges. It's not for deep cleaning if that's what you want. But it's light and easy to use for daily or bi daily cleaning.

Soooo nice! I can finally absorb and mop all in one step! I have lots of children over around the holidays and within one week I've used this multiple times. I would usually have to dirty a towel to absorb the liquid mess first then do a finish mop. This vac does it all in one step. Cordless makes it even better. I usually use this for spot messes, but the battery holds up well even when doing general room mopping. My only issue is that you have to use their branded cleaner. It is concentrated so it lasts, but the largest bottle is 1 liter, it's hard to find, and it's fairly expensive. Otherwise I'm sooooo satisfied with this purchase. My daughter-in-law saw me use it on Christmas and HAD to go out and buy one. If you have hard wood, vinyl, laminate, or tile floors then this device is a must. Highly recommend!
