Pros: Good suction. Nice tool placement. Headlight is awesome. Handles shag carpet really well. I love that there is no tube on the side near the vacuum head. Cons: It's light and has a high pitch squeal. The cord is way too short. I have another Ninja vacuum that I can plug into one outlet downstairs and get the entire downstairs area in three different rooms and our house is NOT small. The new vacuum requires me to plug it in to 3 separate outlets to cover the same area. If the canister were more of a wide/flatter design, I'd be able to get under just about anything.

I JUST LOVE IT!!! Having 2 Labs that constantly shed, this vacuum is absolutely great!

This is my second Lift-Away model. The first one lasted for about 10 years. I will not buy this ever again. They changed the basic function of the Lift-Away. With the old model the power head still functioned and you could vacuum underneath beds, etc. Not now. It is a frustrating design change. I also noticed the cord is about 2 to 3 feet shorter, meaning I have to stop and change outlets to reach all the corners of my living room. The other negative is the poor quality of the seals. I smell and taste dust as I am using this machine and the outside of the canister gets coated with dust. On the plus side, the dust canister holds more so there are less trips to the waste can.

Well let me start by saying it picks up good, but it is heavy an hard to maneuver. If you have a bad back forget it. I have used it a few times an it kills my back. I assumed it was self-propelled. Well it isn't. I would never had ordered it if I had known. Do yourself a favor an get a different vacumn.

The vacuum seems to work under normal conditions. However, we have two Bernese Mountain dogs who shed A LOT. After vacuuming the house once, we had to take the rollers off to remove the dog hair. Also, the vacuum didn’t pick up all the hair. We had to make multiple passes over the same areas.

I have owned four, including this new one, Shart Upright Vacuums. I love Shark Vacuums but this one was a little disappointing. The cord is not as long as my others and the vac does not lay down flat to get under furniture like the others I have. I should have read all the description before purchasing but it does have awesome suction and I love the DUO bars.

This vacuum is about half the weight of the one I replaced, but is so much more powerful and easy to use. I love the detachable body that you can use to do stairs without carrying the whole vacuum. I would love about six more feet of cord, but I would definitely buy this again for the ease of use and powerful suction.

I have purchased three shark vacuums before this one and loved them. This thing.. hands down the worst item I have spent money on. The “new and improved” brush roller that’s never supposed to wrap with hair? Literally stops working every single time I vacuum. I spend more time taking this vacuum apart and trying to fix it than I do actual cleaning with it. If this had been my first Shark product, I would never buy another thing from them. They have cheapened their products up, so the plastic is thinner, the tubing is smaller (clogs so easy), they moved the dumping latch so it’s opposite of the handle, making dumping it awkward and messy, the roller never works, the bristles and rubber bristles rubbed off after a month or two, they took the light off the handle so you cannot see when cleaning behind or under things… it’s basically the worst. Don’t buy it. Their older models are much better. I should have returned it immediately, but I thought maybe it would grow on me.. it didn’t, I have had it a year. I’m one clog away from putting it in the trash. Don’t buy this.
