Shark® Stratos™ Cordless with Clean Sense IQ Vacuum

This vacuum has a short battery life, even on eco mode it was short. Really annoyed it advertises 60 minutes if on eco mode that is FALSE! I feel nothing gets clean on that mode it’s like a cheap vacuum at a car wash place with crappy suctioning. Perhaps I got a lemon or this vacuum and company is really gone down in quality!!!

Battery life is not so hard working. Very disappointing constantly recharging during cleaning day is inconvenient for the price.

I was so excited to get this cordless vacuum. I just wanted one that I could use once in a while- quickly grab to freshen up an area and clean my stairs. In a very short amount of time (months), it stopped working on high-power mode. I mean it legitimately just stops and won't charge up higher than 90%. I had barely used this one as I have SHARK AI and a regular shark vacuum for my main vacuums. Very expensive and should have worked a lot longer. Very disappointed.

This is my 4th Shark product and I can tell you that I love this company! It is my first cordless and it has been my favorite cleaning tool. I have 3 cats and I have very long hair, so this model is a dream come true. There has been zero hair blockage. The dust cup is large enough for my 1,620 square foot home.

Light weight. Easy to use/ change attachments. Very happy with my purchase.

I bought the Stratos (the basic model IZ840H) 4 months ago. It's given me great performance on all floors and has great suction. My concern is that Shark released this vacuum without the ability to buy other accessories for it. I've gone back to the website multiple times only to see the most necessary accessories stay sold out. I can't fully use my vacuum for couch vacuuming or cleaning my car. It makes me at times thinking I should have gotten a different Shark vacuum. PS. I don't understand why Shark has different connectors for each cordless vacuum. For example, I should be able to use Vertex or Pet Plus accessories on my Stratos but I can't. It's a bit disappointing to me.

I purchased the Shark Stratos a few weeks ago. First day that I used it the battery life was short in clean sense mode requiring 2 charges to complete the house. It ran high because it was picking up dirt that our old dyson had left behind. The second day was better but since then I am able to vacuum the whole 3200 sqft house (80% carpet) with one charge. We vacuum everyday (High shedding dog) and the cordless feature is really convenient. Into our senior years so we have owned electrolux, sears, kirby, dyson, and central vac. For convenience and efficiency I am rating this 5 stars because of the speed of which we can complete the job, potability and attachments. I highly recommend the Shark Stratos.

Wish the battery lasted longer. Maybe should come with 2 batteries.
