I received the foot and calf massager for Mothers Day. I love the way it squeezes and massages the calves and feet! I was disappointed that the heat did not work. It would light up red on the foot part but didn't heat up. I decided to return it and get another one. Still no heat on this one either. I decided to check the reviews and realized that was most of the complaints. I am going to keep it though because the massage part is more important to me. Sharper Image needs to remove the "heat" part in their advertising so they do not mislead the consumer.
This massager is showing a heater for foot and calf. The heater is barley heating and it’s only on the foot. I purchased this product primarily because it had a heater. Very disappointing.

After 5 months, it isn’t working. The foot massager runs even when the device is turned off (it massages less than level 1 and it can’t be adjusted). The heat and calf massager won’t work at all. I’ve contacted Sharper Image about the 1 year warranty and they state that I have to go through BB&B since that’s where I purchased it. BB&B state that I have to go through Sharper Image.

It came in the box without the power cord. I’ve checked the machine and the box multiple times. I have a very expensive and useless piece of junk currently.
I highly recommend this Sharper Image shiatsu leg and foot massager to anyone looking for a quick foot/leg pain relief and relaxation! It's an awesome massager that gives you so much relaxation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Why is this called foot and calf massager when it only has action for your feet? I cannot tell there is ANY compression of the ankles or calves. Is this one defective? There are much cheaper foot massagers that don’t take up so much room.
I received as Christmas gift and was super excited! Once plugged in though, I noticed no heat. direction sheet that accompanied the product was very vague. I searched online for any troubleshooting techniques and didn't find anything from manufacturer. After reading all the reviews, this seems to be a problem and am disappointed to say the least. Its going back today and will pick up another brand. Sorry Sharper Image.
This product worked well for two days and then the heat function stopped working; which is why we purchased it for. The massage features work great on this unit. The unit is very large so storing it is a challenge but we love the protective flap that goes over the leg area when it is being stored. The store does not have a unit to replace the broken unit and now is telling us because we used PayPal to purchase it online, I cannot return the unit! So do jot use anything but cash and credit to buy things from the stores online website because to return a defective item is nearly impossible! We now have a large paperweight.
Although heavy, it was a perfect present for my sister. Six months ago she broke her ankle and she said it felt so good when the physical therapist massaged her ankle. She told me this is even better! It does sit in one place in her living room, but she absolutely loves it!
I am on my feet all day for work, 11 to 12 hours, and I look forward to coming home for my massage.
