[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a food scale to help me better understand my portion sizes (what does 3oz of fish actually look like??) I looked at more expensive scales but settled on this. I am very happy with this scale! It is simple, but effective. I just put a plate on the scale, press the "tare" button to set the scale to zero and then put on the food that I want to weigh. It also has a button that can change between units of measurement. That's all there is, but that's all I need! It tucks away in a kitchen drawer when not in use, but is attractive enough to sit out on the counter if you wanted to do that. I recommend trying this one before you buy something more expensive. The only potential con is that it runs on a battery. I have no idea how long the battery will last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The coolest thing about this scale is the top part is Stainless steel, washable and can easily be removed for cleaning . Very helpful for food portion or weight object if you need to mail them . I use it for weighting my diy project so I know how much to charge for shipping . It’s extremely helpful . Small and light weight .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kitchen scare works really well. It accurate and light weight. The size is small so storing it is very easy and convenient. Although its digital the batteries that it comes with do not last very long. I had it powered on for less than 30 min and the batteries died. I like the large digital display it makes view easy on the eyes. I really love the stainless steel platform over glass - it just makes this scale look very classy. I only give a 3 stars because there's nothing much else to the scale, no additional features and I cant weigh heavy items on it due to the size of the scale

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So happy I got this now I can weigh out all of our food so know the weight for meats, or other things husband weighted out chicken on the first day we got it. It's pretty cool it goes up to 11pds. I will recommend to family and friends.

We have had 3 of these scales prior to purchasing the most recent one and although it’s aggravating that the glass plate part eventully separates from the base, we go right back and buy it again because we enjoy having it and it’s easy to use.
