I have low posterity curls so I had high hopes, but as a shampoo it felt incredibly weird on my scalp, hard to move and massage in to truly get that clean scalp. But after using my normal conditioner I noticed my hair felt way more soft than normal and it looked a lot more healthier and shiner. It could be a good shampoo, I’ll keep trying it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shampoo was pretty good! I would say it is clarifying, because light finger detangling did not happen with the shampoo in my hair. After washing though, my hair did feel thoroughly cleansed without feeling stripped. I would love to try and pair it with a deep conditioner from the same line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a typical Shea Moisture shampoo, yet slightly more hydrating especially for low porosity hair. I didn’t have an opportunity to sample the conditioner, but detangling my hair was a breeze after using this shampoo and my own conditioner. If you have trouble really getting your hair to sud because of your hair porosity, this would be perfect!

Other than that little mishap I liked how my hair felt after each use especially hours later after it air dried. My curls were definitely more noticeable and bouncy. I loved how it left a fresh and clean scent rather than an overly floral smell.

It does smell nice but I feel as though it doesn't spread easily in my hair so I end up using more product than expected. Also I'm used to shampoo leaving my hair drier and more squeaky clean feeling. Might be a result of the oils or maybe this is what my hair should feel like and I'm just used to shampoo that's not good for my hair!
