If you are looking for a container that has wheels, a lid, and is 5.5 inches high, this storage box will not work for you. The product is definitely taller than 5.5 inches. I have about 6 inches of space under my bed and had trouble finding storage containers that were short enough to fit. I decided to purchase this storage box based on the fact that the BBB Product Team replied to a customer question and said that the product measures five and a half inches "from ground to top". When I received the storage box I found that it did not fit under my bed. I gently pulled the plastic wheels off of the container and now the storage box fits under my bed. As I was taking the wheels off of my box I noticed that some of them had little extra bits of plastic and were not 100% completely smooth. I imagine that the little rough bits of plastic could be damaging to hardwood floors if rolled directly on them. That all being said, the box itself is fine and will work fine for underbed storage.
I love the design of this box, which is the only reason I gave it three stars. The rollers are nice, as is the clamping lid. Unfortunately, it hasn't lasted that long. The plastic isn't very durable. It seems sturdy at first, but it quickly loses its slight flexibility and breaks off into pieces, sometimes leaving sharp points. I hesitate to buy another.

Unit is well made, and holds a good amount. Closure mechanism makes it easy to retrieve and repack stored items.

This box seems fine mechanically, but please note that it is not as described in the listing. The dimensions are even listed on the sticker on the item and clearly report it as 6.5" high. I bought this item because I needed underbed storage 5.5" or less, and the product description names it is 5.5" tall when it is definitely an inch off.

Works great. Love the wheels. Smaller than we thought as we have some that are older. Price was good compared to the container store.

I bought 3 of these a few years ago and they work perfectly under the bed. One when slightly broke but for the space it's in it rolls fine. I just picked up 2 more and look forward to much usage from them. Good product!
