Putting mattress and boxed springs in encasings while solo is akin to putting pantyhose on a TX Longhorn … not easy, frustrating, hard to hold, colorful language ensues. This design is different. The zippers are strong, long around the end and up the sides, Velcro closed, flap over the teeth, 1min=done!, love it. I’m annoyed that BB&B is cutting costs by reducing high quality names, quantity needed for my VRBO wasn’t available, and using trash can bags for my purchases is insulting.
I specifically avoid bed protectors that have plastic backing because they make too much noise and increase my hot flashes. I looked at the packaging and did not see any mention of it. Was very disappointed. Am planning on throwing it away.

I love the fit because it covers the entire mattress and zips in, but it is loud because of the waterproof barrier and it sleeps too hot.
This mattress protector goes all the way around the mattress and is all plastic. It is a little crinkly when laying upon it because of the plastic feel but it's great that it is water-proof and bed bug resistant. Make it easy to clean up messes that leak through the sheets.
This item is a good value for the money. It is durable, washes and wears well.
I was concerned my thicker mattresses wouldn’t fit (10”) but it was fine. Do seem a little flimsy but they should do the job at a good price point.
They did not have the one I wanted so I opted out or this cheaper version because I got a new mattress and wanted protection ASAP. Unfortunately it did cost me. The vinyl material makes it sound crunchy when you're sleeping or moving around the mattress. There is also ZERO breathability. I always wake up sweaty and hot in the middle of the night, even with my A/C blasting. I hope I can return or talk to someone to see if I can exchange for another product.

It sucks I CANNNOT return this product even though I bought this 3 weeks ago. Now I have to spend more money to get something else. The only positive thing about this is that it comes in an encasement with a zipper.

Came with a tear. Past that, IT TRAPS ALL YOUR BODY HEAT AND REFLECTS IT BACK UP TO YOU! It's awful! Plus, you hear a crinkle every time you move! Awful.
