We wanted easy to use blinds that were room darkening, and better than the mini blinds we used before. These were just what we were looking for. The price is great, and they look like they will stand up to many years' use. The one drawback is that they did not come with any sort of handle or tab, so you have to grasp the bottom rail to move them up or down.
I mistakenly ordered this instead of the Real Simple cordless blackout shades and what a difference! I am returning these because they are not the same quality as the others - they're much thinner material - I'd be afraid that after a couple of turns opening and closing - they would rip. Definitely retuning to get the other brand instead.

I wanted these to be the same as the Real Simple blackout shades that I had previously ordered from Bed Bath and Beyond but they just don't quite make it. I kept them because they are OK for what I needed them for but I wouldn't recommend or order again.
We enjoy these shades so much that we have used them in out last two houses and just purchased them again for out new house that we just moved into. They really block the sun so you can control the brightness of the room easily, the rom really goes go pitch black when lowered all the way (note that there is a tiny sliver of light on the right and left side of the shade which is unavoidable because otherwise it would scrape the sides, we use the blackout curtains as well to catch that little sliver of light. As best as we can tell, these really stop the windows from feel so col in the winter and so hot in the summer, they really world for us and we can't remember how many years we have used them, its benn that long and they are that good.
These are by far the best and easiest shades to install. We have purchased four for each of two homes now and have not been disappointed. They darken the room as described and look like much pricier versions.
Installed easily and works fine and is truly blackout. Subtracting one star because it'd be nice to have a trim piece to hide the little bit of the brackets that you do see (not bad, but could be better) and it REALLY would be nice to have a snap-on handle at the bottom to use to pull the shade closed (other past BB&B products have had this).
I ordered 35x48. Got 34.5 x 48. That 1/2 inch makes a big difference when you are fitting a window to keep sun light out. My original ones I bought 2 years ago where 35x48. Hello vender! Size order should be size received!
We recently got new windows and I bought these instead of putting our old blinds back up. I am obsessed - love how easily they move up and down without the annoying cord! My husband had the first one up in like 10-15 minutes. Planning to buy more for some of my remaining windows!
Easy to install. Was as described.
Very happy with these shades. Many cellular shades do not stay level when raised. These do so beautifully. Very easy to raise and lower. Also look beautiful on my windows.
