Simply Essential™ Garment Rack with Cover

Bought this in person at studio city store. The threads on the connecting pieces are 2ay too shallow, and as a result, the entire rack sways and leans. If you try to put on the stiff cover, you risk collapsing the entire structure. Bought a different brand for half the cost elsewhere and am full satisfied,

We now have two of these Simply Essential™ Garment Racks with Cover. The first one which we purchased several years ago had a taupe colored fabric cover that nicely stretched to fit the rack upon assembly. The setup was simple and looks nice. When the second one was recently delivered the picture on the factory packaging showed the item to be identical to the first. The same taupe cover was pictured. Upon opening the box we found that this was not the case. The cover was not taupe, but a darker tweed fabric. This material is much stiffer and has an almost plastic-like feel with no give or stretch to it. That made it very difficult to assemble the 2nd unit. It was a two-person operation. In fact the material is so stiff that not all of seams of along the edge of the cover were properly sewn closed. The cover has gaps in it. If there still was a Bed Bath & Beyond store locally I would have returned it, but it was not worth the hassle.

The rack was simple to put up, however the cover already had a tear on it towards the back and the zipper zipped down but wouldn't come back up

Sturdier than plastic framed garment racks I have purchased in the past. It is a bit narrow in depth, fitting just the width of a hanger - so not a lot of room for larger garments. I do wish that the cover was completely enclosed at the bottom. Cover did have a slight tear in the seam. Overall it seems to be as good a value for one of these racks as any I have seen. Not thrilled with it, but it serves the purpose for a temporary and mobile home to seasonal clothing.

I bought this a few weeks ago and it was super easy to assemble. No tools required but you do need to be patient and follow the directions on the instruction manual. It holds up nicely and I love that it has a garment cover to prevent dust. It's very sturdy and looks great after set up. Would definitely recommend! And would definitely buy it again!
