Simply Essential™ Pan Scraper

I really found this scraper to be very useful at first, but it turned out not to be able to stand up to a pan that's still hot. There was no indication of what temperature it can withstand, but I figured it might possibly take the heat from a pan that had just been cooked in. Unfortunately, it couldn't withstand the heat, and it partially melted across the scraper edge. I was able to break off the melted pieces and smooth it a little, but it isn't quite the same since it melted. It might be useful if the manufacturer could somehow indicate on the scraper the maximum temperature it can withstand.

Did not work well and was not very sturdy. Threw it away.

Love, Love, Love this item. Bought two and glad I did. Works on pans, plates, bowls to scrape off excess. Makes cleanup easier and faster.

I use to have something similar from tupperware many years ago. This works just as well as I remember. inexpensive little tool to have.

The size of this is very deceiving! It appears to have the "visual" look of a slice of bread... but it's less than half the length of a regular kitchen utensil!! Large hands may find this difficult to hold and use.

I haven't used this yet, but I have a feeling it's going to get lost and forgotten in my kitchen tool drawer. My fault for not looking at the item more carefully online. The rubber is pretty rigid, and my hand would have to get too close to a hot pan to scrape. I'll probably stick to my rubber spatulas for scraping out hot pans.

I purchased one if these scrappers years ago from BB & B. That one is apple green. It works so well without damaging pots and pans and cleans cookie sheets really good, that I recently purchased 2 more but the color red was only available. I gave them to my Sister and Son and they really like them as well. Going to get a few more for other friends and family. This is a good and useful item.

Ordered two Simply Essential™ Pan Scrapers, they are great. Makes cleaning easier and faster. Everyone should have at least one of these in their kitchen.
