I'm not sure why everyone is writing bad reviews on this product. It's a white vinyl mattress encasement. It's neither super cheap quality nor the best mattress protector out there. I've tried the $60 mattress protectors and after a few washes, somehow they get microscopic holes in that weird latex coating and on the first spill or night time accident, your mattress is ruined. These do a much better job, you don't have to wash them, and I was able to put it on myself ( a female) without causing rips or tears. Get it, don't bother with the expensive ones, just get this and a nice $25-30 quilted mattress topper for noise reduction/breathability and you'll be fine. And you'll end up spending even less than those pricey ones.
I should have just covered my bed in saran wrap, the plastic ripped from the zipper while zippering it

I started putting the plastic sheet on; I read others' reviews thinking they were just too rough with it. I was REALLY gentle and as soon as I started zipping the thing up, the zipper strip detached and the whole thing came apart and broke. Do NOT waste your money. It doesn't matter if you're gentle with it, this plastic cover is cheap and crappy. I was fed up and I duct taped it on, but I shouldn't have had to in the first place!
Be very, very careful when putting this on. Bought this protective case to cover my son’s mattress that we were storing in the basement after he graduated from college. We had to put packing tape over the ripped places. Tip: Put the cover on last after you move the mattress to lesson the rips. Cheap price, cheap cover. Go buy a more expensive one, hopefully it will be better than this one.
I bought this because I thought it Was going to be a great mattress cover that covered the whole mattress with zipper, but it’s plastic. Easily ripped within one week. This mattress protector was always very hot, it retained heat and made the bed very hot.

Put the cover on and as soon as I started zipping around the plastic tore and very thin vinyl not worth the price
I expected better. One year should've been the least it should have held up.
As soon as I got the protector half way on it started ripping from the side. I then got it on and zipped it up and it ripped COMPLETELY!

Did not last a year. It tore at couple of places with regular use. No jumping. Waste of money. Rather spend a few more bucks and buy a better one that will last.
