We're using this to monitor the back of our house and learned the installation was very easy. We appreciate the HD picture and that it activates with motion. We're very pleased.
Bought two of these camera to use at our vacation ho,e. Followed the installation directions and was not successful in getting the camera to work. Contacted tech support by email several times and was passed on to another department. By the end of the weekend we still did not have these simple camera working. Ended up using ADT for security. Very poor response from this team and will not have the opportunity to try install for a few months. How disappointing this support/customer service. Probable will return these camera if our next attempt is fruitless.
Fast and easy setup. Really wide viewing angle with an amazing picture quality. I bought this to protect my home and delivered packages. Sometimes I look to see if my cat is getting into any trouble. I couldn't be any happier with them.
This camera is a good value for the money. I installed my simply smart security camera last week, installation took about twenty minutes. So far so good, it seems to work well and the app is easy to use. I feel better having the extra security.
I have been looking this type of camera and am so pleased with my Cube! It comes with a backing that has command tape on it so the installation takes seconds really…most other I was looking at had to be wired, which was too complicated for my taste. The app is easy to use too. It took me less than 10 minutes to set everything up. Great value!
I have been looking for a wire-free security camera that didn't break the bank. This camera checked all the boxes. Unfortunately, the technology isn't ready for prime time. I ordered two cameras - one for the front, the other the back door. I connected the cameras as instructions indicated - and tried to set them up. They were glitchy at best. They were connected for 10 days and were nothing but problematic the entire time. They were constantly losing connection to the internet - sometimes the front camera, other times the back camera. And the front camera seemed to capture appropriately during the day (based on motion detection) but at night the front camera recorded every 30 seconds for 30 seconds (I think it was set off by all the cars and people going by at night, but not during the day, I am not clear on the reason). After a few days, both cameras went black - stopped capturing anything (even that back camera was out of energy even though it wasn't capturing non-stop at night). Well, the year battery life was more like 5 days. I will be taking them back. The phone app is very clunky and the promise of being notified whenever motion was detected is a promise unfilled - it doesn't alert you to anything. The app seems like something that would have been developed in 2010. I will be on the lookout for another option for my security camera - and these will be returned to Bed Bath and Beyond. I am grateful I purchased them from BBB with a generous return policy and not the manufacturer's website - Switchmate doesn't accept returns (that's a red flag).
