I'm glad mine worked. Lights up & spins. It did not seem to work the 1st night. Maybe it needed a whole day of sun instead of 5 hours. Power switch is REALLY hard to tell if it is on or off. Which makes it a two day affair to see if the unit works.
I purchased two for the end of my walkway. I've had solar lighthouses for many years and I always look for different ones. This year I purchased this Solar Lighthouse with Rotating Light and they definitely weren't worth the money. They will not spin, I have to go out every night and shake them before they'll spin. One does some kind of strobe light effect after it has been on for a few hours. The other one just stops after it's been on for a few hours. I have tried everything to see that they are level, but nothing works. I love the Hatteras Lighthouse and was excited to get this. Now, ready to give them back.

I have had mine for over 3 years. I love it. And for it to be out all year round in Las Vegas with the heat and wind and still working, tells you how durable this is. Its a good size too and get a lot of complements on it. Want to find it again to buy another so when the day comes that it stops working I'll have a backup. But have been able to find it again online or in the store.
It is good. I don't mind even if solar breaks in next few months, it looks great in my small outdoor garden. That's what I needed :)

I love the detail of this piece. I have an automatic lantern on the lawn that might block the solar light but even if that happens I still like it without solar.
This is a very cute lighthouse. Purchased a few months ago & light works great. Nice addition to our deck. Glad I ordered it.
Purchased this yard decoration less than a year ago and it STOP WORKING. I feel they've taken my money away from me!

This is in my garden and it makes a wonderful accent piece. The light works and delivers a great amount of light to the outdoors.
