Beautiful color that lasts a long time. I've tried indigo and jade. On bleached hair, the indigo looks like a dark blue and jade a dark green that fades to a blue. The only downside is that it's very messy. The dye washes off of surfaces and skin after awhile, but your ears and neck maybe blue for a day. If you touch your head to much it may strain your hands. Other than that, after a few washes, the dye doesn't fade too much.

This color was easy to apply. However, I have dark hair and it still came out more pink than ruby or red. I also did one of my children's hair and it is more of a bright pink. The worst part is that even over time, pink gets on our pillows every night and no matter how many times we wash out hair, pink still comes out. I will never buy this again.

I have been coloring my hair for 30 years. The splat midnight series has the best color stay of any brand I've used, including salon only colors. I have unfortunately been unable to find my midnight tanzinite In store recently. I've been using that particular color for several years after switching from Pravana. It's the best purple I've ever used. It stays and looks amazing even when fading. Please never stop making it.

I love the splat brand because even when my hair was black the bleach got rid of it all and I didn't have to bleach it twice. The color is very vibrant and last for a long time!

In all honesty, you basically have to strip your hair in order to get the color you desire. It maybe gave me red highlights that you could only see under the sun but that was it. I tried going from light brown hair to red and it just didn't work.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Splat completely destroys your hair. I wish someone would've warned me. It's been over a year and my hair is just not getting healthier

hey, it's laura, and all I want to say is wow. The second I pick this up it exploded in my hand so I had to buy it but I still wanted to dye my hair so I grabbed four more boxes. When I git home, I realized that the serving size was not on the box which I was really sad abt after the dye went into my mouth, so I just swallowed everything which resulted in the ER :) :( but it is okay because now I have the rainbow teeth I always wanted

For drugstore extreme hair color, Splat! proves to be a solid contender for vibrant hair whether it's bleached or not! If you want it to be more funky, wild then bleach it first, condition, then color and follow up with weekly uses of color depositing shampoos. Remember to rinse with cool water and not wash in super hot water, but lukewarm instead.
