Main question I had was would it work with those stupid cheap metal closet rods that make you hang everything from the back The hooks on this swivel to whatever direction you need them to be so it works just fine. Narrow but deep which is what you want for closet real estate. Shallow ones waste space behind them. Also good length. You will still have room to put things underneath if you need the space. I'm using for sweaters and seems quite durable for that. I store most in plastic bags for folding and stacking reasons so the lack of a front enclosure is no big deal. Also, I've had one of those type before and prefer the open shelf ones anyway. Highly recommended.
The Squared Away 6 Shelf Hanging Closet Organizer, is indeed spacious, specifically 'deep', however, I'm not convinced that it is worth the space that I must sacrifice to hang this in my closet. The pics I have posted show the dimensions, however, if I really loaded this organizer up, I'm certain that it would look 'slouchy' at best. If space is at a premium in your closet as it is in mine, I would not recommend it. However, for baby clothes, or in an spare/extra or in guest room closet it may very well work. Personally I have LOTS of hanging clothes, so it is not worth sacrificing that space for this organizer. It is well enough made, but again, if you overload it, it's sturdiness could be questionable.

It's easy to access and to see what's in each section!
this really saves hanging space. You can also put shoes in it as well.
This item did not come with the hangers so it is impossible to use.
I live in a very old house with no closets. This was a great addition to the hanging storage I put in my new walk in closet (previously a bedroom). Purchasing another.
I used this for my son's shoes in his closet. PERFECT-fits one pair on each shelf.
These are well made,sturdy and have hooks at the top instead of a flap and velcro which seems to hold better. I'm using them to store jigsaw puzzles in a spare closet and it holds a lot.
The material was a bit thinner and flimsier than I has hoped. Would only hold very lightweight clothing
