This hamper is large, narrow and made of dark grey, thick felt. The nicely made wood handles are heavy, which makes it droop to one side when you first try to stand it up. However, once you put clothes in it, the sides fill out and it stands on its own. Since it says spot clean only, which in my option is a downfall, I will not be using it for wet or muddy clothes. I can definitely see using it in a college dorm or laundry area where space is limited. I’m going to use mine as a tote to carry items into the hotel when we go on vacation. Then it gives us a place to put our dirty clothes.
Do not buy handle broke after 2 weeks. The string unraveled and the wooden handle fell off. At least have reinforced stitching, it’s a laundry basket it will get heavy.

I love the look of the grey felt. It reminds me of the bags Jack Spade was famous for. I have two that I store my art paintings in that I don’t have wall space for. I need to buy some of the small ones that would be great for smaller paintings.
Three of these fit perfectly in the linen closet of our master bathroom. One for my husbands clothes, one for my clothes and one for whites. When they are full they are so light weight and are so easy to carry to the laundry room with these awesome handles! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!! THIS WAS AN AWESOME PURCHASE
At the time of purchase I didn’t know it was a hamper. I just thought how well made, for the price, with the felted fabrics and how sleek and stylish it looked. I thought I could even carry it on a airplane . I’m in love with bags. I am now using it in my new camper, being so lean in space it takes up. From others review I would just restitch if needed. This bag is so cool and lite weight
This laundry hamper is nice and big! I wasn’t expecting it to be so big and wide. The handles are great. They make it easy to carry. The outside is also very nice. I love this hamper! I may get another one.
The quality of the materials used is just fine, but the thread used to stitch the handle to the basket is not. The handles have detached from the bag after a couple months of use. Without the handles it is difficult to carry.

This laundry hamper from Squared Away holds a lot, yet doesn’t take up much space. Made of felt fabric with beech wood handles. Narrow design folds down easily.
This is similar to the car felt back in the 80’s-90’s, that amazing, thick, durable, sturdy felt… . But better. Really nice quality and size, self standing, quality & cute handles, double stitched, and I love the tall and slim design. I got 3. And they fit in the best inconspicuous places of the home for our laundry. Love this! My favorite BBB purchase so far.
