Squish® 4 qt. Collapsible Colander in Berry/Gray

In case anyone cares about the color, the one I received was a dark pink color instead of the red in the picture on the product page. Otherwise, looks like a great colander.

I generally like the colander. It drains wells and nicely stores flat. It is a little difficult to get it fully open but I think with practice, that will get easier. Hoping it will hold up well and the silicone won’t break down from opening and closing. Also, it does look nice.

I love how this colander collapses to save space. I was forever fighting with my old one to get it in the cupboard or reach around it to get what I needed. This collapses when not in use and stands upright so it is easy to reach past.

I used this the first time to rinse Blueberries. I rinsed the strainer before using, but as I was eating the berries I noticed that they tasted terrible, like motor oil. Rinsed again, no luck. I washed the strainer several times, then a few days later used it again, sme thing. Washed it in hot soapy water, then used it again to strain hot pasta. All I could smell was that same bad smell. I am not picky and do not return things easily, but this is going back, it must have had something spill on it. In terms of functionality, it's really great.

Love the different sizes that it can adjust to. Silicone and best of all it collapses for storage.
