We decided to buy these to try them, to save the constant use of plastic so detrimental to the environment. They are very good, and I like the fact that they self-seal, but they do not hold a huge amount, being flat without much of a bulge for the food. The smallest would not be useful except maybe for kiddie snacks. I was able to use a larger one for a small block of cheese, but the gallon size is the most useful for food left-overs, and I like the ease of microwaving them in the bag if wanted. I am switching to silicone bags instead of plastic for everything I can. SAVE THE PLANET!!!!!
I'm trying to decrease my usage of consumables, so I thought I'd try this reusable, washable silicone food storage bag. It got indelibly stained when I used it in the microwave. Now I don't reach for this as much as my glass containers.

We've been using Stasher bags for a couple of years. They are the most durable of the reusable brands I've tried. I appreciate being able to wash them in the dishwasher and then letting them air dry. I enjoy using them for extra lettuce. Highly recommended.

I love all my Stasher Bags. I have stopped using so many disposable bags, which is wonderful, and the bonus is my produce and cheese etc last much longer in Stasher. I clean in the dishwasher and they show no sign of wearing out. Great for leftovers, and also protect items in freezer!
