I bought this for my new King Tempur-Pedic Grand Bed. This fit is outstanding. Fits from side to side...corner to corner. Even though this accepts up to 24" depth mattress, I actually felt like we used up to 21" stretch even though the the King Tempur-Pedic is only 15' in depth. Therefore, I'm actually pretty pleased that I got such a great fit. Just like putting a sheets on your bed and tucking it under. No Play. Very comfortable and cool. This was very important to me to sleep cool since I have this memory foam bed that does absorb body heat. Nice padding and very soft 100 percent cotton 1000 thread count top. Very soft and just had a real richness. It does translate to a great nights sleep. Cost is pretty steep, but obviously you do get what you pay for. Looking for comfort, cool sleep, and mattress protection is what I got. As for waterproof, unable to comment yet since I have had no spills. We don't drink in bed, so it may be awhile to update this review.
I'm one of those....I don't leave reviews. However, this mattress pad is so horrible I feel an obligation to let others know. Let me begin by saying I am somewhat of a "bedding snob". I love high quality bedding and am willing to spend the money to get it. In this particular situation, I was replacing a ten-year old mattress pad that had served me well. I also might add the mattress pad had been laundered every month for 10 years and never tore or ripped. I was replacing it because it had lost it's loft. I examined this mattress pad in the store prior to purchase. The fabric is decent quality, the fill and loft is fine. I noticed the skirt fabric was a little slick and not as elastic as the prior one, but thought perhaps this was new fabric technology I was unfamiliar with. I purchased this, took it home, and laundered it in my extra-large capacity washing machine, cold water, gentle cycle, and mild detergent. When I took it out of the washing machine, the BACKING HAD FALLEN APART AND THE STUFFING WAS SPILLING OUT IN SEVERAL SPOTS!!! Also, THE ELASTIC BANDING AROUND THE SKIRT HAD "LOOPED" EVERY TWO INCHES AROUND THE ENTIRE SKIRT! I'm 63 years old, have laundered mattress pads for at least 40 years and have never seen anything like this. At closer examination, the backing appears to be some combination of plastic and paper. Clearly, it's not designed to come in contact with water, even though it states it is washable. Needless-to-say, I let it air dry and have returned it to the store for a full refund. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY PURCHASING THIS....Not if you intend to launder it. I have no idea how it would have fit the bed since I was never able to get that far in the purchase. I hope this is of some help in your decision process.

I purchased one of these mattress pads three years ago. It has held up so well, I purchased another one. It stands up to frequent washing, and has a comfortable and lofty fill. I purchased this product for a clearance price (the second time around), and I hope that Stearns & Foster continues to produce these mattress pads.

This is definitely the best mattress cover I've owned in the past fifty-plus years. I'm so relieved to have found it and only wish I could find sheets that fit my S&F mattress as well. Perhaps S&F makes sheets, too. I've already washed it, and it washed beautifully. The fifteen year warranty is something I've never encountered. Anyway, I'm happy as can be and highly recommend this mattress cover.
This excellent mattress pad is truly the best in every respect. Not a stitch out of place, the quality of the high-end materials and workmanship is outstanding. The thick quilted padding is so exquisitely soft (with that high thread count). The pad fits so much better, and stays that way, because there are actually three section types: the top pad, the four soft wide stretchy side panels for the mattress sides, and then there's another stretch panel sewn on each one, to put UNDER the mattress itself. So it stays perfectly put no matter what (in fact, sheets should've made like this!). We love this pad and the warranty is unbelievable! We hope we can find the same pad in Queen size (BB& Beyond only had Full at the time, which we needed for a new mattress). Buy this, even if it is a little more $, and you'll be as surprised as we were at how wonderful it is.
Washed up nicely, very thick - what I wanted!
Nice and thick, added good padding. Easy to wash. Stayed on. Shrunk a bit when I washed so I recommend following instructions as I probably didn’t.
I ordered a California King size, but this thing was so substantial that only 1/3 of it fit into my commercial, large size washing machine. It cost $20.00 to wash it at the laundromat. Not what I want to deal with. I ended up tossing it out as it was impossible to fit back into the packaging that it came in and the store was closed due to Covid-19. However, if this is what you are looking for, have at it.
