Nice size for oval placemat. The only negative is that the plastic will stain, especially with tomato products. I also purchased the matching table runner in the store. It washes nicely except it shrank A LOT! Thankfully, I got it extra long anticipating it would do that.
They are very easy to install and very nice quality fabric!

These placemats stain with tomato sauce or red wine and you can’t get the stains out. Also, they are very thin and flimsy. They also shred on the edges and the fibers are exposed. Cheaply made.

I needed these for a new counter top that I had installed and using them for surface protection from scratches and other problems. They work perfectly and match my new counter top.

These are high quality, good enough for company. Really, I thought I was a diehard natural fabric person, but these are so easy to clean up and not at all cheap-looking. Ideally, they’d be made of recycled plastic, but they are something that will be used and re-used, so I feel good about them. I was not sure about oval, having used rectangular placemats in the past, but I love the way they look.
