Doesn’t stay in place and not even waterproof. Don’t spend your money on that !!

I was not impressed. I put the covers on my recliners right before my visitors came over, and within minutes the tops were falling down. We've been trying to use them since, but really it's pointless because I have to fix them everytime I go to sit and even still they fall down and get messed up.

Ended up buying 3 even though the cover is designed for a standard-width recliner and mine is the chair-and-a-half width. I use 1 cover on recliner while the second is in the laundry bin and the third is available for emergencies - like me spilling a drink. The cover is great at protecting my chair from me and two small dogs (9 pounds each). And it is great for the bonuses I sought: (1) things no longer fall into/through the spaces between the seat cushion and either arm and (2) neither dog enlarges that space. Possible improvement I hope manufacturer will consider is weights or velcro or screw-tacks or something even better to keep e cover in place over the arms and head of my recliner while I and/or pets squirm a bit.

I got this because I have 4 cats and my recliner has pleats. The arms don’t work for my chair because of the chairs design so that is useless. It doesn’t stay in place either. The only thing it does do is keep the seat and back clear of pet hair and spills. I’m living with it now, but am going to make my own modifications so it will work better.

Fits perfectly and protects chair

I bought one of these covers years ago for a couch. Since then, it’s clear that the quality has declined as the cover is no longer a soft faux suede, and feels thinner, but this does have the addition of anti-slip rubber on the back, so that has been a positive change. It looks awkward on my chair since the arm and back flaps are super long, but I other than that, it does the job. Not overly attractive, but what chair cover is?And my cats LOVE this thing for some reason. I put it on three days ago and they’ve barely left the chair since.
