I am not a dog trainer and don't want to be either but my American Eskimo was getting too much to handle. Great dog but she tended to lunge at other dogs when I walked her and run out the door when deliveries arrived. The Command Collar training solved both issues. The BONUS DVD included showed step by step instructions for how to use the collar plus a lot more. Very satisfied but I wish there was a way I can get my dog to stop eating the cat food. I can't blame the collar for that though.
I am still trying to understand how it acts as the mother dog would because it hasn't turned our dog into the perfect dog, yet. We do have a very head strong breed and you have to understand this bread is this way or you will be ready to get rid of the dog. So, I'm not sure the collar is going to correct the things we wanted it to but it does get the dogs attention. This is the very first time I have ever said I do not recommend a product and it is based on our dog not responding to it, that doesn't mean it will not work on your breed of dog.

We really learned a lot just by watching the DVD. Within 10 minutes we became aware that even though we have been Dog owners for over 25 years, attended Dog Obedience Classes and read many books, this DVD gave us remarkable insight how to think like them in order to understand them. Unfortunately the "perfect" command collar wasn't perfect for me and my dog.
The idea is a good one, but my puppy is small and the collar did not fit.
This is the only collar that works for my Chocolate Lab. This is the second collar that I have purchased. Why. Because it is the best! I also bought one for my neighbor's dog. I originally bought the whole course from the TV. I loved that course. I wish that I had purchased Don Sullivan's course when I got "Trapper", my dog. I would have saved us a lot of errors and time on training. You should sell the whole training kit.
Collar when on changed his behavior immensely only wish the CD played to tell me how to use it. Just have to now send for the real one for more help.
This product is not what the advertised product says. It is hurtful for the dog and really does not work the way they say it does.
I liked it at first, and so did my neighbor.... but, after awhile stopped using it... guess it's up to you !!
