Therapedic® Medium/Large Weighted Back/Lap Mat in

I've watched a YouTube video how to put the same amount of glass beads in each pocket for a weighted blanket, very easy. And this pad failed. Some pockets have very little beads & some too much, as long as the total is 6 lb!. I use it to cover my shoulders when I sleep at night, this unbalanced pad make it uncomfortable. The reason I keep it bcs the fabric is so soft & it keeps cool. But I'll have to open some stitches to move the beads around & saw them back.

I use this at night to help me sleep. It’s the perfect size to just cover my torso as I lay on my back. The weight helps me go right out. No idea why. I didn’t want to get a bigger size because they weigh so much more. I thought I’d have a hard time lugging it around. Happy this works for me.

Absolutely love it, use it every single night

I’ve always loved the protection mat the dentist covers your chest with prior to getting xrays. Often I’ve wanted to ask them to leave it over me for the entire visit as it’s weight gives you that relaxing comfort. I’ve bought several weighted blankets from BBB which I love but to lug a full size weighted blanket around the house or take them on the couch with you can become quite cumbersome. When I saw this size I was so excited! I immediately used the item locator and jumped in my car to go buy one of these! My perfect size weighted throw lives on the back of my couch so I always have access to it!

I use the lap pad in the car across my lap which helps me to stay warm.

At first I thought I had made a wrong purchase, but now I enjoy this little blanket. It’s small but I didn’t want to lug around the 15-25 pound blanket. I use it while I’m watching tv. It does have me feeling calmer. The gentle weight reminds me of having my cat on my lap.

It is the exact size I wanted. Easy to bring anywhere. Very happy with purchase.
