I was recently diagnosed with acid reflux and my doctor recommend it that I sleep elevated. I did my little research and found this pillow at Bed Bath and Beyond, which by the way was pretty affordable and I was still able to use my 20% off coupon, and have it delivered for free to my home. This pillow has helped me a great deal with acid reflux and has even helped my posture, JUST LOVE IT.
I bought this to keep my head elevated at night without compromising my neck. Seemed like a good idea on paper. But by Day 3 of sleeping on this wedge, I developed lower back pain (which I never had before!!). Everyone needs to know that if you're going to try and elevate your torso, you need to do so from the hips, not the lower back. Trust me. I'm still suffering.

I would not recommend this particular product. I specifically purchased this pillow in hopes of using it alongside my bed pillow in order to keep my head elevated, since I have diabetic retinopathy and macular edema. This pillow is too firm and not angled correctly for proper support and alignment of the spine. I tried it for several consecutive nights, all to no avail. It caused my neck and back to ache and also caused throbbing headaches and eye pain, all of which I did not have prior to its use. Again, I would not recommend this product.
This is exactly what my husband needed for that little bit of elevation while he sleeps. Foam eventually wears out but that takes years. This is his second pillow.
I’ve always purchased this wedge!! Just don’t like the price going up all the time!!
I was very disappointed with the Wedge Support Pillow. I was excited to receive it so promptly and immediately unwrapped it and set it on my bed. I tried all different angles and could not get comfortable. It is basically a foam wedge; the back and the narrow bottom meet at a 90 ° angle so it fits squarely against the headboard or wall. There is little to no support for the lower back, neck or head. Bed Bath and Beyond did make it very easy to return though. I just had to bring it back to my local store. While there I did find something that works much better.
This was the perfect solution to assist with my reflux issues and I am very grateful for the relief.
SENT IT BACK NO GOOD DID NOT WORK FOR ME
This pillow is amazing! My GERD has been really causing me sleepless nights lately and my lower back has been hurting. I just purchased the pillow yesterday and it was delivered to me for free. I knew this this pillow was the one when I propped it up in the bed to read. I felt so relaxed and comfortable. I slept like a baby with no GERD flare ups or back pain. It was amazing. I can’t wait to go to sleep tonight.
Great for elevation during sex!!
