Haven't use this product once I saw the filter is cleaned via vacuuming; not something I want to do. I prefer washable metal filters. I am giving it to a family member who doesn't mind the cleaning process.
I purchased this to get rid of cigarette smoke. After about 2 months the filter was dirty and you cannot vacuum out smells from the filter. I cannot find any replacement filters. Besides the filter issue this machine is very loud. I have other purifiers and this one is hands down the loudest. Not being able to find replacement filters and the noise of this machine is not worth the price.
Great design Effective, versatile and easy to use and move.
My neighbors smoke and summer days are brutal when you have to keep the windows closed. This air purifier is a godsend. My room doesn't stink like cigarette smoke anymore. As an asthmatic and someone with a keen sense of smell, I highly recommend getting an air purifier.
