I didn't realize these were polyester when I bought them and I was so disappointed at first, but it turns out this microfiber polyester is nothing like the noisy/hot one we're used to. They're almost like cotton but way sturdier and they feel silky and light. It's very hot where we live and I can cover myself with this sheet in the summer and not break a sweat like I would with cotton sheets. Happy I stumbled across them.
Three big complaints on these sheets: 1) Not cotton, and they sleep hot. 2) Way too big. Fitted sheet does not have actual pocket corners, in other words, no seaming at the corners. It's just elastic all the way around the bottom, so it has a very sloppy fit on the bed. 3) The colors bled like crazy. If you buy a darker color, wash them alone!

I bought 3 of these sets in different colors to complete the Truly Soft reversible Comforter sets. The colors of the sheets match very well with the colors of the Comforters. I bought everything with a discount and feel it was a good deal. The sheets are truly soft and have a light and luxurious shine to them, they don’t wrinkle. I like the look and price but wouldn’t recommend this material for people that easily sweat at night. When I was ill and had a fever, I found out they don’t have the absorbing and cooling qualities that cotton sheets do. The size of the sheets is generous. The fitted sheet is user friendly.

Queen sheet sets not as described in ad. I wanted fitted sheet sets WITHOUT elastic. Elastic fitted sheets are hard to put on for senior citizens over 75.
