We need new towels so I started researching online for the best towels out there. I learned about Turkish cotton, Egyptian cotton, beech, organic, modal, etc... I knew I wanted a soft and absorbent towel that looked traditional. The only thing I don't like about this towel is the design is only on one end of the towel and not on both ends. Something I've never encountered before. It didn't stop me from buying it but I wish it was on both ends. I have washed it, used it, washed it, used and it's wonderful. Super soft, super absorbent and feels great on my head with my hair wrapped up in it. I haven't wrapped up my hair in years because our towels felt too heavy but this one just feels great. It also didn't seem to shrink and is 4 inches longer than my existing towels. I washed it in cold and dried it on low heat as recommended. I can't talk about the colored ones and if they are colorfast because I bought the white, but from my research - modal retains its' color and doesn't look washed out like pure cotton ones. I'm going back to buy more! FYI - I didn't buy the hand towel because it appeared the decorative sewn design on it was wider than the towel, hard to explain but it didn't look right. Maybe that would change with washing/drying. I don't need my bath towels to exactly match my hand towels so that didn't deter me from buying the bath towel either.
