Nice steam output

Literally one time amazing then it wouldn’t work, it’s cheap and the same they sell on Vanity Planet a site that can change its price by the minute, so deceptive and the usual abusive to consumer tactics the law has set I. Place that has clearly no consequences. It’s all corrupt!

I got this for myself around February or March. It works well. However I did not use it for the first two weeks bc I could not figure out how to open it and get to the water container. What was very vexing for me is the direction booklet dose not even show you how to open it to the water container. It was not intuitive in my opinion or a first time user friendly bc of this. I almost returned it out of frustration until I found a YouTube video on how to open it. It’s works well, gets hot, and the stream of steam is consistent for the run time. I also like how elegant and sleek it looks. The reason why I only give it between 3-4 stars is that the device is nearly impossible to dry out in full. The water basin in the machine is completely sealed. You would think that leaving it opened for a week to air out, without the water container in the device would dry it out . But instead when putting it away, you will find the water is dripping out, or worse if you put it in a storage bag condensation from the remaining water will be all over the inside of the bag when you pull it out the next time to use it. Thus I can’t ever put it fully away, or put the water container in the device to store both pieces together, bc I know the sealed compartment that houses the water in the machine won’t dry out fully and will become mold infested if I did. Instead I have to leave it out and drop the a Silica gel pack in the whole and hope it is absorbing the water still left in the sealed basin. If After never putting the machine away unplugged or putting it in a storage bag with a Silica gel pack in the whole dose not get rid of the left over moisture and mold dose take hold of it, I will rate the device as 1star bc then it’s just a big health issue. But for now the procedure I have in place to make sure no mold gets in the device from left over moisture after seems to be working. It’s a pain though to try to make sure that dose not happen, and it’s a shame I can’t ever fully put it way, or put the water container in its slot so it’s together bc of the moister problem not drying out otherwise.

I bought this to make it more convenient to steam my face. I was using the bowl/towel method, which works great but I thought it would be easier with this device. It’s not the same at all. First of all, the water is stored in a plastic bottle and it smells like hot plastic when you use it. The toxic smell sticks to your skin and inside your nostril for hours. Secondly, the steam comes out hot but dissipates quickly. It doesn’t soften skin like the bowl method. Third, you have to constantly move around your face to make sure steam hits all over the face. This product is waste of money. It’s nothing like what they use in spa.

Leaked water

I loved my first several facials. Then about the fifth one the oil container flew off in my face yikes! Then my sixth facial the machine stopped after a few minutes. I started it up again and it did it again and again. My daughter bought the same one and hers did the same thing. I am returning it and buying the Aria facial steamer which had great reviews. I thought when I was ordering it from Bed Bath and Beyond I was getting the Aria and it was the Outlines.

I was excited to get and use this product. I purchased in November 2021 but didn't start using it regularly until January 2022. Unfortunately I only got about 3 or 4 good facials and then it started to auto shut off after just a few minutes. I have followed the guide for usage of the appliance so mine must have a defect. Loved it when it worked but only a few months of use doesn't make for a worthy product to purchase.

Haven’t had this 6 days and it’s leaking and so hot you can’t touch the unit. Blue light also quit working
