I bought in 2016 12 place settings and now I shall have 20. These are now my showoff set of 20, if I have more diners, then I shall have to use my old (25 years) Japanese set bought at Bloomies. These Celeste pieces are by far extremely nice and, unbeatable price and quality. Made in Vietnam, not China. I have some coffee china and I am on the prowl for a nice dinner set. One must dream, right?

I was disappointed with this product , first time I can honestly say this about a Villeroy and Boch piece as I’m a huge fan ! The size of each individual piece is too small for everyday use... it’s all still sitting in a drawer....I wouldn’t give it as a gift but maybe one of my kids could use it ...

On Thanksgiving, my niece was rinsing before loading the dishwasher and remarked how heavy and great looking my flatware was and asked what brand it was. I told her all my dishes, glassware, and flatware was Villeroy & Boch which was made in Germany.Her mom pulled me aside and asked me to buy a set exactly like mine, that she never knows what to get her daughter for her birthday.

The style and quality are good but the weight of the flatware is not what I expected.

I expected to have some weight to these utensils. The teaspoons are extremely small and the handles seem to be short.

This was a great set to replace all the mismatched pieces in my drawer. The dinner forks and soup spoons were a bit larger than I expected, but after using them a few times, I got accustomed to the size. They are nice-looking.
