Vitamix® 6500 Blender in Platinum

I purchased this product on July 17 an on thanksgiving I was making a recipe “Agua de horchata “ we do it in regular blender but this product just burned out and I had to go buy a regular blender to finish my recipe!!! When I called Vitamix to report the problem, I was on the phone waiting for a representative more than 2 hours. The recording said “we will return your call to this number” and hung up on me.🤦🏻‍♀️

It is true to what it is capable of doing. My favorite is when I made my Avacado sauce/ dressing. It was so smooth and silky.

This blender is amazing, makes the best smoothies, margaritas etc etc, very happy with my choice.

I use my blender daily if not multiple times a day and I bought decent ones before the Vitamix but burned out the motors within a year or two. I was leery of spending so much on this blender but the warranty finally convinced me to give it a try. So far the Vitamix is going strong! Its been about a year now and I am enjoying that it still seems to be going strong and clean up is much easier than other brands. Overall, great product!

My Ninja died after 5 yrs and I really wasn't happy with it to begin with. It didn't blend the way it's supposed to. After lots of debating, I decided to go for a vitamix blender. Wished I got one sooner. I love love it. We use several times a day.

I have been using this blender for over about 2 years and it is great. I bought a 48oz container for smaller batch. I make a lot of smoothies so having a preset is very useful. And having the variable knob for manual control is great as well. It takes what ever you throw at it (the tamper helps).

So after owning a ninja blender for years and it finally breaking on me I asked my husband for a replacement blender. He came home with this bad boy. What a powerhouse of a motor! What a lovely large low-profile pitcher! I can just fit this fully assembled beneath my cabinets and I pull it out every day to make smoothies. I’m not kidding, every day. I’ve never gotten the smooth results I’ve experienced with the vitamix. I’m no longer afraid of certain unavoidable textures from leafy greens, seeds, and fibrous fruits. Just put it on the smoothie function and run the machine about 30 seconds and voila, perfect consistency smoothies with no chunks, unless you want it that way then just pulse blend it! I’m so happy with this purchase and I’m so grateful for such a good product that I remark on it to everyone I know. I’m getting avocado, flaxseed, greek yogurt, spinach, kale, carrots, beets, chia, and so many more fruits and veggies into my children and myself daily that would have been a monumental feat to get them to consume otherwise.
