It worked great for a few days. It would be whisper quiet if it weren’t for the motor that sounds like a computer fan, which is fine. The problem is when it oscillates it makes this high pitch squeaking that sounds like crickets chirping. Then after about a week it started making a continuous clicking noise when it oscillates back and forth. I’m pretty dissatisfied with this considering how much it cost.

I bought this fan last month and it's been a lifesaver! My noisy old fan died and after reading many reviews of tower fans, I decided on this one. I don't know if my old budget fan was just worn out or what-but what a difference the Vornado makes!

This fan definitely works to move the air in the room, however, it has a loud, high-pitched, screeching noise when it oscillates which is disappointing.

I bought this fan several months ago thinking that this would work for me for years to come as I need it to sleep! After 3-4 months of use, it began this annoying squeaking every time I turned it on making it miserable to have on while sleeping and was super disrupting. The design is sleek, comes with a remote, which I LOVE, and the fan worked great when it was not squeaking! Hopefully you have better luck than me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summer has arrived and I am so glad to have this Oscillating Fan in the house. We have a room where our air conditioning doesn’t quite reach and this fan has been a lifesaver. I love the sleek design, it blends in and you hardly even know it’s there. The controls are easy to use. Whether it’s on low or high, it’s pretty powerful and keeps the cool air circulating in a big way without being oversized or loud. We use fans throughout the year and this one will probably be our first choice. Seems very durable and well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Solid oscillating fan that does what it's suppose to. Pretty quiet and moves seamlessly. You do have to do some screwing in order to build the base that is moves on which is a little surprising but guess that's needed in order to keep the box smaller. It comes with a remote too which is always a plus.
